No problems here, my dark-fethered friend...try it again with Mozilla Firefox, it does work there:)

Or just use Mirc, that will ALWAYS work...

Indeed, I'm getting the error as well while I'm using this computer. It seems to work fine while I'm using my second computer, although the only difference I can see is that I use firefox on this one, and IE on the other.

My bad.  Some updates I added to two completely different sections of the site inadvertantly broke the chat, since the chat is the only part of the site that integrates both parts.  This was fixable simply by naming the functions differently.

Let me know if there is still a problem.
