Okay, I often highlight parts of peoples posts so I can copy and thus quote them in my own post. However, for some reason, I'm currently having trouble. Whenever I try to highlight anything, it gets from where I highlighted, to the very bottom of the post, and I have no control over how much highlighting there is. This is really pissing me off. Is anyone else having this problem, and can it be fixed? =/

Yes i'm having the same problem with IE, I told Silverdawn, It's fine on Firefox though.

Yeah. I should probably use FireFox. It is more secure, I guess. But to be honest, I find IE so much simpler.
Was there any word on trying to solve it? =/

Just wondering as it's beginning to piss me off. I could swap to FireFox I guess, but just trying to find out if it can be solved first.

Have you tried going to windowsupdate.microsoft.com and downloading the latest patches and versions for IE?
I don't get the problem you speak of, but with older versions of firefox I had other problems. Getting a newer version got rid of the problems.

No the problem affects all IE, I have to use firefox everytime I want to copy and paste anything out of a post. I assume Silverdawn will fix it when he gets back.

Yeah, this problem has been bugging me for quite a while too. I've looked at the HTML source code and I don't see a clear reason for why it's doing that, but I assume it either has something to do with the way the DIV tags are used or the .highlight{} section in the forum's CSS file. The reason I like to highlight text is because I use it to follow along when I read posts so that I don't accidentally skip a line or read a line twice. By the way, I use IE 6.0 if this helps. It's not a major issue, but if this could be fixed, I'd be very pleased.
Err, I don't think it used to do this before either. I know I'm not a frequent poster here, but as I recall, this problem arose about up month ago during one of the site updates.
