I guess the prob is that people would be worried about giving money blindly, and people my age can't send money by credit card, and posting money a bit risky.  Besides that means posting your address on the interne, a no-no.  BUt there must be someway to save veritas like getting everyone to wire the money to an internet acount that could poss be viewed then we get round the prob of people being worried about you getting a lot more than you need and people like me not being able to send money.

After all its very easy to set up an account and very easy to send money to the account.

in addition to my original post

If an acount was set up we would only need a few details and could then send the money, however i dont know about money changing cause I live in the UK and don't have $.

But I know a friend who has a large amount of web space, he struck a deal with a company, he goes to my school, however I think he has to pay money to so wouldn't be able to give space for free.

Hell, I'm sure out of 1,500 members we can come up with a lousy hundred bucks. I have $80 right now that I'd have no problem throwing at Veritas. But, I have no credit card. Maybe, just maybe, I could poke my parents into letting me use theirs. Their NEW one... And just pay them however much it costs. But we would still have to switch, and it would still cost a billion fucking dollars. I'm also sure that I could just mail either DarkDuck, ThePita, Silverdawn or somebody else a check. HuhHuhHuh

Well i'd be willing to donate some money to keeping veritas running, its just the how thats the main problem.  I already have a switch card, and i'll be getting a credit card for my student loan next year, but without an acount to transfer the money into it all may as well be thin air.  Perhaps if we get enough replies a paypal acount could be set up for veritas in the name of one of the admins etc.  (no offense but i wouldn't trust just anyone with my money )

Frozen, I'd just like to point out that it's over 1500 accounts, not all of them are really active.

Is money still an issue?  How much are you guys paying for the hoast?

Hoasting:

www.godaddy.com:

cheapest plan: $3.95 | disk space: 500 MB | Monthly data transfer: 25,000 MB (25 GB) | Email accts: 100 | 1 MySQL database | Language support: ASP or PHP

You also get a discount if you register the domain w/ them too.

Forum:

http://www.phpbb.com/ : FREE

And I know there are free IRC channels.

Now I think about it why were people waiting till they were 18 before they could pay anyway?  I already have a debit card and I can get as many as I like.  Infact anyone over 16 can.

But This is a little late....  smiley
