I was just reading that guy's post history and when I returned to the topic, you'd edited it. The fact is, I got to read what he said. Yay! I'm special!

Anyway, back on topic. I've pretty much got everything perfect in it, except for this one part.

That very last message. Did you mean to say Masamune, because it seems more fitting of Marasume. I picked that up when reading over it and even thought it's just a little trival thing, I just wanted to change it if you had made a mistake. If that's what you meant, maybe I'm just braindead and misunderstand. Maybe in a month or so when I'm awake again I might understand =P

Anyway, once I get that cleared up it'll be done.

Oh, and btw, it ended up similar to the old old Chi articles. As in...

However, I only put a name when a new person started talking. I also gave names to students, but put "(Student)". Next to it. You know what, I'll just quote part.

Darkduck: With a 'live' blade it is a lot different. Perhaps I’ll answer that in a later session if you don’t mind.

Time to continue then. There is a moment that the two energies come together. This moment is quite hard to describe, you will have to settle for "believe me, you'll notice alright". At that point, that bokken adjusts to your needs, and becomes one with your energy in an instant. On an energetic ground, you and the bokken have become one, your energy completely in the bokken, but the bokken also in you, allowing you to "understand the blade".

With practice, it will become easier and easier to quickly bond with the sword. If you break your training, there will be a lot of your energy still residing in the bokken, as it has become YOUR weapon. Literally. Close off in whatever way you see fitting. Be sure to bow in respect. I hope this short guide on Aiki with weaponry was informative. ^_^

Defender: Sidenote: And this applies to my section as well. When doing something like this, it is VITALLY important that you are able to bond with your weapon very quickly. If you are actually in a fight you will need to act instantly, without even thought.

Darkduck: Indeed. With practice, it doesn't even take an action anymore, the moment you touch that particular weapon, you are one with it.

There's just a whole clunk I found somewhere, to demonstrate what I mean. If you want, I can change the formatting before I send it away to you if you don't particularly like the way I did it. Up to you.

So anyway, clear up the above thing about Masamune and Murasame, tell me if the formatting style is alright and then I'll finish it all up and send it off. Coolies. ^_^

What it says there, is that masamune would not drive someone into a random killing spree, because of the peaceful nature of the blade...it looks fine by me, or my lysdexia is acting up again O_o.

Aah, I gotcha for the thing. I was under impression you were saying, though Masamune was forged with the idea of destruction, it wouldnt necessarily drive you senselessly into a killing spree, but would still effect you. My bad. I told you it was probably me misunderstanding. =P

Anyway, it's all been perfectededed now, so I'm about to pm it to ya.

anyone know anywhere in south aus (pref adelaide) where i can get a cheep (sotta good quality) sword from, because ive looked everywhere on site and i can only seem to find shipped from USA. and that costs a bomb. ^_^ any help would be apreaciated. thanks

www.google.com.au and choose the "Find pages only from Australia" option. If you also use specifics with "Adelaide" in the search, you're probably more likely to get a result.

Or simply www.yellowpages.com.au and check under Martial Arts & Supplies in SA - Adelaide. That should work.

Well, if you're planning on sticking around it's probably best to join the forum

As for the classes, just pay attention to any announcement threads in the class forum, and you should be able to attend them in the IRC channel (which can also be accessed via the java client on this site).

As far as I know, there hasn't been another class held or scheduled as of yet. Try checking out the log of the last class in the articles section to see what the classes are like.

1. To get to the Veritas channel in mIRC, log on to the server Sorcery.net, and join channel #VAcademy. Or, highlight the monitor icon at the very top of the page, and click "chat", which will send you the site's java network (which allows you to access the channel straight from the site)

2. Wow, some one else who appreciates Tool...I thought I was alone there for a bit. Yes, it's wonderfull isn't it? And it's from the best song in the world...Lateralus (also from the best album/CD ever created, Lateralus). I also hope that you noticed some of the things hidden in the wonderfull peice of art included with the CD...for instance, the flaming eyes are on chakra points (palms, third eye, throat, solar plexus).

P.S. - It's Maynard James Keenan*, and you have to remember, Maynard's only 1/4th of the band....

 Agh, I know what you mean about the chat -_- Most of it is random idle chat with tons of spam. But when the channel is being used for a class, the OP's moderate the channel, so only OP's can talk. The "students" then PM questions to OP's, which are the answered in the main chat during occasional pauses in the class.

Hehe, I love Adam Jones and Danny Carey too ^_^ We can't forget Justin Chancellor and Paul da'Mour...they're really great Bass players...but lets try to keep this thread on topic.
