I have been doing the 3 circle stance (from the article) for 2 days now and I am sore.  I was just wondering what you should be feeling during and after the exercise so you know if you are doing it right.

I feel:
1. my legs shake
2. about half way through my body heats up and I begin to sweat, and it is cold where i live.
3. i get tired, even my arms.
4. and I feel exhausted when i am done.

thank you.
he'd have to train like rocky in order to see an improvement.  Rocky is so awesome.  Like you said he would have to be determined, like Rocky.  Than he would be awesome too.- me, a minute ago

Now what would you feel after running a long end? Or lifting a lot of weight? Or participating in an intesive round of sparring?

Exactly, just that. In other words: you're on the right way. In time you will be able to prolong the time spent in the stance, and meditate in the stance, greatly increasing your inner power.

Good luck!

Farther to the right. Moving it to the front will just cause you to fall on your butt. ^_^ *topples over*

Once again, I must say that I love this stance lol The sore feeling you get after doing it...ooh ^_^ I just love that feeling. It's the kind of feeling that lets you know that you absolutely are going to benefit from whatever it was that you did. I must sound like some sort of fitness freak lol

I also love the feeling you get in your hara, or chi in general. You can feel you chi being cultivated while performing the stance and can feel it even stronger after the stance is finished. It feels as if I just cultivated and watered the garden that is my body ^_^

thanks DarkDuck.  I feel tired after doing it but the next day i feel good.  It's good stuff.  How long should you be able to hold the stance to be considered good at it?

Well I've been practicing it for about 4 days now, and I can go on for about 10 minutes and 30 seconds...is that good?
