I drove down to Davenport's Borders the other day and saw a book History of Magick by Levi translated by A.E. Waite (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0877280770/sr=8-1/qid=1140561052/ref=sr_1_1/102-8877705-4862510?%5Fencoding=UTF8)  I wanted to get it but am short on cash so first I wanted to check and see if there's an online e=book version.  Is there?

* Creature checked in our e-book list and couldn't find it :(

Grimorie of the Green Witch by Ann Moura  is also a good book for wiccans. Nothing on black/molevlient magick but really covers on symbolism. It also has a whole section on sabbats and how to celebrate them.
I personally love the book.

So we're supposed to list books that we found really useful and stuff?

Aight, if you're into Qabalah or Tarot, or High Magick in general, even if you don't like Crowley or own the Thoth Deck, check out the book that goes with it, The Book of Thoth.  It helps if you do have some backup knowledge about these two subjects (a la Regardie's Garden of Pomegranates in my case... another good one).

Every once in a while I have the balls to pick up something by Crowley and start reading it... and I'm always astounded.

Except for the Book of the Law.  That was oddly dissapointing.  Probably because that was the only one I had no comprehension of though.

A Wiccan that practices the so called "Black" magick does not deserve to call themself Witch OR Wiccan.

The Witches Magickal Hanbook is Also a good read for the solitary practitioner.

Are there any other good book beside summoning spirits by konstantious and Practice of Magical Evocation and the treatise on elemental magick who deals with the behavior of elementals?

Or does anybody has some good books who have some good basic magick knowledge except the Kybalion and Psychic self-defence? Maybe somebody knows a good book like Dion fortunes Psychic self-defence book?

Summoning and necromancy are VERY different. With summoning you summon a non-human entities such a elementals and with necromancy you control/summon human entities (Ghosts)

Correct me if I am wrong though

I don't know if there's an e-book version of this out there, but I recently bought "A Garden of Pomegranates:  Skrying on the Tree of Life" by Israel Regardie.  It's a very good book on the Qaballah and the symbolism therein.  As I understand it, this book is in the same series as "The Tree of Life," which was previously mentioned in this article.  I almost bought that, but this was cheaper and I'm on a budget.  I can't seem to put it down.
What we see, is it reality or just another lie?  Magic is Truth, and Truth will always influence the lies.

I apologise for the potential redundancy of this question, but can any of you recommend a good book on the history of Hermetic magic? I see a lot of names mentioned on the forums (Abramelin, Paracelsus, etc.), but have little knowledge about them, and would like to learn more. Mainly, I am interested in the old adepts' own journeys' to try to use their insight to aid me in my own studies. Thank you for your insights.
