Yeah, and it would be great if we wrote "Verteis Newsletter" at the top.  (Proofread!  You have 7 errors in a 2.5 line post.  8 if you include the subject.)

A newsletter would essentially be a forum, but distributed instead of posted publicly.  I'm not convinced there would be any need for this that's not currently being fulfilled by the forums and articles.

Veritas. It's latin for Truth.

Anyway, I don't think that there is enough monthly news to create a news letter for it. Chances are if anything interesting happens, the community will know about if before a week has passed, from the chatroom or forums.

 This right here makes me support this newsletter idea--useless or not. ^^
Sometimes my shadow leads, or it follows me, but we never seem to become one and the same.

Well... if you're willing to pay postage and printing costs for a monthly newsletter to over a thousand members... feel free. So let's do some math. Let's say printing one newsletter costs a quarter.

Y = 1.00x + 1.40x

So... costs of printing four newletters a month for however many people are on Veritas (represented by X,) in addition to the postage for the X number of members... multiplied by the number of newsletters you wanted to send out in a month... say, 4, would give you Y.
Y = Total cost.

Now, I'm going to do this problem for some reason...
For the number of members, I'm just going to use... 1000.

$1.00 multiplied by 1000 members = $1000
$1.40 multiplied by 1000 members = $1400

Monthly... it would cost about $2,400 to print up four newletters for a thousand members at the cost of a quarter printing, and .35 postage. Now, take that sum and multiply it by 12 to represent the entire year, and you're stuck with $28,800 a year. Would YOU pay that to print a newsletter? Nope. Not unless you're insane.

Now... I just did MATH, even though it was easy :), of my own free will... and that in itself is scary. So... I believe I have proved my point to an insane extent... and I'm just going to stop talking now.
