If you haven't noticed yet, Prophecy and I are offering a series of private courses on Psi and Magick.  Each of these will be an intensive series of courses.  Each series will last a total of about 28 weeks, and will require regular exercises and work by the student.  The applications for the first course in either Psi or Magick will be due on Saturday, October 9th.  So if you are interested in taking one of these courses, then you should begin preparing your application immediately.  More details, including the application forms, can be found in these threads:

Kobok, will the other courses be different, or the same as the first? Just wondering because I just started coming back to veritas this month: December. thanks.

As I recall, there will be a new series of classes some time in the summer though.

I think that's his point, Aurora. He's asking if those latter classes will be any different than the ones in progress now.  Yes?

I cannot speak specifically for Prophecy on this, but his answer is probably similar to mine.  When I rerun the courses, the material will have the same content, but will be refined.  Since this is the first time we are teaching courses in this format, there are tweaks and changes to our teaching style and lecture contents that we are learning as we do it, and the next running of the courses should reflect our increased understanding of how to teach this material.  We're almost halfway through our course sequence, and already I've come up with many significant improvements for the next running.

My intention is for the course material to evolve with these changes over several teachings of the course sequence.  The psi courses I'm teaching are designed to be comprehensive, and give a thorough understanding of psi, so if the content changes it will only be because I find a better way to do that, and not a change in material covered.

I hope that answers your question.  :)

So when does the course start, because the application forms don't have to be in for ages.

We don't have precise times picked yet, but last time the application period was only two weeks.  It will probably be around the same length of time this time.

That post was made at the start of October 2004, and was referring to that same October.

Could we submit applications for the next course already, or do we have to wait for that 2 week period?

You'll have to wait until I post the applications and announce that they're being accepted.

Probably after the current classes finish, and then no doubt there will be a rest period for the teachers and time to ponder how to make it better. I believe it's set to finish August. Or it might have been April. Can't remember. But yeah, it's coming to an end, and should only be a few more months.
don't believe everything you read... especially if it comes from me.
