I would like the signature character limit extended.

I like to put quotes in my sig, but I also have link tags to an index of my articles and an archive of my old website. The url tags count against the character count, which drastically shortens the available space for quotes in my sig.

I just upped it from 300 to 400.  I see you were hitting it from the invisible characters that get counted against you in urls and in formatting like italics.  Really it's the vertical height that is the issue with signatures.  I would like them to not consume more than about 4 lines, maybe 5 at most, in a typical browser window size.

Thanks a lot, now I can put in some of my favorite quotes that are a little longer.

I'll try to keep it under 5 line height.
