Upon looking through the E-Books section of the wiki, I noticed a disturbing lack of material regarding Eastern philosophy, particularly Daoism.

So, here are links to PDFs I made of the Daodejing (Tao T'eh C'hing), Liezi (Lieh Tzu), Zhuangzi (C'huang Tzu), and Yijing (I C'hing) parts 1 and 2, and The Art of War (Sunzi/Sun T'zu). I have also included Go Rin No Sho (The Book of Five Rings), by Miyamoto Musashi.

Daodejing (Rosenthal translation): http://www.mediafire.com/?j4wfzokkw3jq6lj
Zhuangzi: http://www.mediafire.com/?dazr5c8udjnz4v1
Liezi: http://www.mediafire.com/?sz2m98ljxpseata
Yijing part one: http://www.mediafire.com/?1kqti4abuh081ol
Yijing part two: http://www.mediafire.com/?p4z8ux5dq15xebf
The Art of War: http://www.mediafire.com/?whpjhz7pu24u6ax
Book of Five Rings: http://www.mediafire.com/?r24w6fml67gr5zf

Hopefully these will help fill the void of material on East Asian philosophy in the E-Books section.

Adept, please add them to the site and wiki index if you can. (I would do it myself but I don't know how).

Enjoy.

Nifty, thanks for the resources.  But it looks like Zhuangzi and Liezi list the same URL...

I don't think Adept is still around. It's been some time since I've seen him posting.

I added the books to the BEA ebooks section. I'm not too familiar with such Chinese texts myself, so I may not have categorized them correctly. Let me know if there's anything that needs fixing.

Looks good to me; though I have to wonder, the only link I can find from the main page to the V-Library or any kind of E-Books is this: http://vsociety.net/index.php?title=V-Library

Why the separation? To me it seems kind of odd to have a listing of books by 100+ authors, a lot on philosophy, and leave out the Chinese classics.

Perhaps a link to the Body Energy Arts books should be on the frontpage as well? I've never seen that page you linked myself and thought that the V-Library only consisted of the page I linked above.

Thanks.

I think it's because the V-Library consists of books uploaded to Veritas, but I'm not sure. You'd have to ask Adept, but as Willi already mentioned, he hasn't been seen around these parts for some time.

To be honest, I don't think everything looks perfect at the moment. You can find a link to the ebook category at the bottom of the V-library, but I admit some improvements to the structure of the wiki would be nice. Of course, you're free to help. :)

I made a modification to the main page so 'V-Library' links to the ebook category, as opposed to the library page itself. This should make things a bit clearer for everyone.

Got it, yeah. If I could have uploaded them to Veritas directly, I would have. I would suggest if you have the capacity to upload them to the Veritas server, to do so. I'm pretty sure most of them are public domain but one or two may not be and I can't guarantee mediafire won't remove some or all of them at some point.

Thanks for doing this, at least now the different sections are visible. :)

Sorry for the double post.

Can we possibly get those books all added to this section under Taoism as well?
