The meaning of life for all is to consume.

Consume the resources around you untill there is nothing left.

and then, as the law of balance dictates, something will eventually consume you.
Just a wishful thinker with the worst intentions.

If you believe there is more after life, then you are merely contradicting yourself (to my view anyway).

If there is more after death... Are you really dead? Perhaps only on a physical level, but as we all know, astral projection takes our lives from the physical level, therefore life doesn't require that. So life isn't just about your physical body... So when your physical body dies, do you? What are your thoughts on that?

I think that when people ask for the meaning of life, they are asking the wrong question, it is possible to ask for the meaning of something that we dont or no longer take part in, like a book or a film, like the moral of a story , but I think that life is a bit more like a game (life isnt a game)
because we interact with it, so a more relevant question may be what is the key to life, I think that balance in all things may be the key to life. :)

Balance is a good theory, but that would give us little to do considering the Universe seems to have a natural balance, whereby unbalances are sorted out by the appearance of an opposite. That was the point behind the two sides of the equation in the Matrix films. Keep balance comes naturally, so long as you don't resist (which would only slow the inevitable at best).

The term opposite is strange... By definition, it means completely different... But in a Mathematical equation, while both sides are opposite, their value must be the same.
