Maybe it is time to give myself away a bit here, but I have been a student of the occult over a couple of decades, and do not view magical or mystical teachings as levels anylonger. (assuming this is what was being referred to in your post). I have read the IIH, but do not put it into practice for the reason that it is not needed at this point in this life. That is why explanations of this text are left to Veos, Prophecy and a few others. The ultimate purpose of the IIH is to expand the consciousness, with the goal of coming in contact with the invisible Masters or "Brotherhood." And God or self realization. What I speak of in posts are based on experience, not what was read or heard.

The reason I am attracted to Veritas is through all studies and experience, what has impressed me the most is that all systems are based on Hermetics, primordial teachings. Franz Bardons and the Rosicrucian (AMORC) teachings to my knowledge are the purest and most comprehensive forms available in the west at this time...Although AMORC it is not a magical Order per say, the healing arts and a few other things are taught in their system. With advancement into these teachings various abilities are gained, but not overly concentrated upon, because the ultimate teaching is service to others within this creation.

I looked at your question again and thought maybe to lend a bit of an explanation...since I kind of just dropped out of the sky here onto Veritas a while back. I was attracted by much of the "real" knowledge of a few teaching here, or otherwise on this site. It was also noticed that there are many that actually put these teachings into practice.
