Yup, that's one of the problems.
Another could be in the gayatri mantra, which is commonly written as:
Om, bhur buwah suwahah, (om) tatsavitur varyenyam. Bhargo dewasyah dimahih.
Diyoh yoh nah prachodayateh.
And translated as:
Om, we meditate on the infinite being that created this universe, may He enlighten our minds.
But we cannot forget about sanskrt origin of the mantra which makes it hard to rewrite into latin alphabet and also there are multiple possible translations, so Prophecy's version isn't incorrect, it is just incomplete. "Om", which Prophecy translates as "God" also has multiple meanings and quite frankly, "God" is rather western translation, originally was Om viewed as a divine syllable, vibrating through all the matter and higher forms.
