i just wanna say, that if i had the money, and i mean a buttload of money, i'd buy a huge office building, at least 10 stories. i'd empty out all the rooms, completely. then i'd revamp the inside into an academy of sorts, a physical version of this site, but the outside would look like a nice ass office building. where ppls could register to train there for 50$ a month (50$ being the highest amount and the reason why i would need a buttload of money) and if necessary, live there (thus the reason for emptying out the rooms) for the training. ppls could train 24/7 or only part of the time and still lead "normal" lives. thats it. i dunno why but for some reason i feel passionate aboot it.

If I had a lot of money, I know what I would do, I'd go downtown and buy a Mercury or two. Crazy 'bout a Mercury. I'm crazy 'bout a Mercury, I'd buy me a Mercury and cruise it up and down the road.

So go win the lottery like the Wiccan dude.

Yeah, because this isn't the commercialisation of it, putting it up there with Taekwon Do clubs of the same breed. Not to mention that I'm fairly sure that it would be hard to keep it in business.

Plus it would alienate people on the site who didn't live in that area.

I'm working on winning large sums of money.

I was also thinking of starting a research institute into all things metaphysical if I happen to become massively wealthy (I am, however, almost certainly the wrong man for the job).

My idea of it would be a place where anyone can come and stay and train/learn using the facilities, the only price being that they have to participate in certain experiments during their stay. It would be focused around research into energy primarily.

Does a place like that currently exist?

Mastery does not occur when you've performed a feat once or twice. Instead, it comes after years of training, when you realize that you no longer notice when you're performing a feat which used to require so much effort. Even walking takes years of training for a human: why not everything else?

We're approaching this the wrong way, you know.  All you have to do is find someone wealthy, woo them over with Jedi mind-tricks, and have them build the building for you.

Works for the Catholic Church all the time.

Pretty sure the billionaire who is building real estate space via launching inflatable space stations into orbit (Bigelow is his last name) has an institute or two dedicated to the research of metaphysical phenomena.  And of course, that means there's plenty of subjects so yes, what you're suggesting does exist, although not perfectly in line with that your vision is, I'm sure.  But close.
The thing that really fascinates me about people is their ability to have no idea what's going on even though it's going on in plain sight all around them and the even more amazing tendency to argue violently when one of these obvious things is presented to them.
