Usually people need to think about a hard shell around the energy to keep it in place to make it stay.  It may also be that you don't have enough energy to make it last or that your intent is fuzzy.  I highly suggest you check out Skywind's Playful psychic tutorial on tips and suggestions.

Yeah well when I make a psi ball or even cup my hands, since I'm so used to expecting to feel the sensation of a psi ball it kinda makes itself and leaving me to do no effort.
What a man believes upon grossly insufficient evidence is an index into his desires -- desires of which he himself is often unconscious. If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it.

An alternative way to fix the problem is to program the letters "IDDQD" into the construct.

Cause TakeV is being a nerd and referencing something before your time :P

~Steve

(P.S. IDDQD is for wimps. Programming in IDKFA will make the psiball a hundred times more powerful >_>)
Mastery does not occur when you've performed a feat once or twice. Instead, it comes after years of training, when you realize that you no longer notice when you're performing a feat which used to require so much effort. Even walking takes years of training for a human: why not everything else?

However, proceed with caution. IF you are deemed a 'heretic' against psi, using IDKFA is probably a very bad idea >_>
(Yes. Bad joke. Bear with it).

Sorry for the crypticness, AB. The letters refer to cheat codes that are used in games, firstly Doom (though I do not recognize the ones by Redefine).

Redefine would be referencing Duke Nukum 3D.
