Magick / Re: Negative Energy
« on: June 20, 2009, 05:34:50 PM »
Thank your for your replys.
I am not neceserly christian nor catholic. But i do have immense faith in God and Jesus being an enlightend master. The holy water helped because i have for a lack of a better word faith. My parents are creating alot of negative energy because of the high amount of stress their feeling. I will study the middle pillar ritual. I realize that negative energy is not the only reason their like this. Im sure they need counceling. But you know this helps to a degree.

I've done what i can trying to be the peacemaker between them, I will continue trying to talk to them both

Hey guys I need some help.
My family has been going through a very tuff time. My mother is very sick and can't even move from her bed. My dad is going insane because of this. This creates a huge amount of "negative energy" because their constantly arguining. I believe this is affecting my mother's health and hindering her recovery.

Now the "negative energy" gets so strong that the whole house seems darker or gray at times. Their might even be a negative entity of some sort that is affecting everyone. I performed the LBRP many times and even uses Christian and catholic clearing with holy water. It helped a bit, but all of the energy seems to have transferred itself into my dad.

I need some techniques or rituals. Or anything that would help my situation

Would the magical will as in used to affect the environment be strengthened if I was to say force myself to do acts that seem hard? Sort of exercise and train the will.

Is the magical will the same as the will you use to get out of bed in the morning?

Thank you for your replies but I got confused. Mindwarp what I understood from your post is that I should detach myself from my thoughts as well as my inner voice. But you also said
You must therefore learn to observe that inner voice as if it were a thought.

I'm on the first exercise which says to observe my thoughts. Sorry if I didn't make that clear in my first post.
So for just observing my thoughts should I also observe my inner voice along side the images or just the images?
A straight forward answer would be appreciated; I'm a little hard headed. :headwall:

When practicing IIH Step 1 can I talk in my head (inner voice) when looking at my thoughts or should I just focus on the images that come to my mind and completely exclude my inner voice?

Magick / Re: Exercising Impatience

An exercise to strengthen patience
There is one particular exercise which I have suggested to impatient students in the past, and always does this remedy cure the ailment of anxiety.  The aspirant is to take a large collection of marbles, at least forty of them, and scatter them across the floor.  Placing a bag or container of sorts into which the marbles are to be deposited on a table, walk around the room and pick up each marble one by one, returning them to their container(preferably on the other side of the room) only one at a time, never carrying more than one.  Naturally, this is to be done until all of the marbles are picked up and returned to their containers.  If this is done even two or three times a week for some weeks, the individual shall quickly obtain a degree of patience that he has not previously observed himself as demonstrating.  A fitting substitute for this exercise is to sit in front of a clock which has both a minute and second hand, and watch the second hand tick second by second for a set amount of minutes, preferably at least five.  If the individual can do this for ten minutes without becoming anxious or wishing for the time to speed up so that he may be done with it, he may consider patience obtained; if he can do this for tine minutes without another thought entering unto his mind and with his body entirely still, he may consider it mastered.  The aspirant who can do such shall climb quickly in the ranks.

For a beginner i would suggest starting off without no container. This makes it seem alot more possible to your brain and might make it easier to move. You can always put the container back on

Ya stretching helps it out a little but it still comes back i think ill do what you said Martial Thoughts  and practice mastering myself and not scratch. One cool thing i noticed is when i do the warm up exercises or Wu chi and watch T.V at the same time the T.V. starts to flicker, skip, the volume disappears, and basically act like it never does. If i stop a couple of sec later it becomes perfect again, i start same thing happens. This happens like1 out of 4 times i do it. So ya i think that's pretty cool

Hello all, I'm a new to this board and would like to say hello to everyone here. Now the problem I have is that when i stand in Wu chi for 5 minutes or more my legs begging to itch horribly. It doesn't seems like itching after a while more like a needle pooking me. The more i try fight to stand in Wu chi the more it itches till i cant take it no more. Its not just Wu Chi I get this anytime i have to stand still. If i scratch it brings only momentary relief after that it hits harder then before, its forcing me to move i can stand still. Anybody know how to get rid of this or anything i can do to lessen this?
