Okay people there is this new Martial arts forum www.Affray.yourbb.nl its a dutch forum but everyone talks english so its no problem for people from outside the netherlands to join. its a new forum so there are not much topics and stuff but with a little help from every one it can be prety big

i train on the wooden dummy and the purpose of the dummy in my opinion is

angling
Hardening arms
practicing movements on an opponent that gives a lot of feedback
perfecting moves
perfecting footwork

there are many dummy forms, the one i practice has 108 and i know the first 40 moves

people can talk for 5-6 hours and still not completely have covered the philosophy of the dummy
so ill just post a movie

here is a movie of someone demonstrating all the dummy so you can take a good look
