I'm sure it is. That doesn't mean, however, that I like you walking around with a bloody face. It's so icky. And disturbing...

Moving and losing people always has a great effect on people, no matter how prepared people think they are. Even if it didn't bother you much during the day, you did lose a friend. Try getting in touch some time, I think the dreams might stop if you get some contact again, see how he's doing, stuff like that. Just call him, talk about what has been going on, just chitchat. I think it will help.

If that's not it well, no harm done.

Plus I just realised something. You say your father's company went bankrupt, and Tom's father was promoted. Could that perhaps be it? Him staying on top and you falling down? Think about that one if you are absolutely sure it isn't the moving.

Heh, that little bit of information did give a whole new perspective to your dream. A good way to prove that interpreting a dream is difficult when you know only little about a person.

Did you really not know about it? Where there any signs at all that you might have to move in the future?

Were you perhaps afraid you were going to move someday and lose your friend?

Just ask yourself every possible question that has to do with moving and the fear of losing your friend. The fact that you actually moved might only have increased your 'pain' of losing him.

I have another little technique for you that works if all else fails. Its an addition to your day affirmation.

You might look like an idiot but jump up and down all day, remembering that in real life you just land on your feet again. Like one would expect you jump up...and come back down. That's the easy part. (What you have to tell yourself when you do this is that in your dream you will fly when you do this.) Do it enough and you'll start doing it in your dream as well. Only in your dreams you will jump up...and you won't come down. You will just float a bit. Tada, you are dreaming. Really. Oh wait, I'm dreaming!

Forget it, I'm not going to jump up and down all day and look like a friggin idiot, screw you. Alright, here is the mini version.

It might look a bit silly but pull your finger multiple times a day. If you do this a lot, again, you'll start doing it in your dream as well. There is just one little difference. In your dream your finger will stretch out. No need to tell yourself that when you do it in real life. It will stretch out. Bingo, that can't be possible. I must be dreaming. Works like a charm. But like everything else, remember it might take a few days.

Also, here's a crashcourse to flying. So you simply can't get yourself to fly? You jump but you won't float? Try swimming. What?!?! Yes swimming. Swim up. You might float down again when you stop but it will help. Like with everything else, practice makes perfect.

Good luck trying to figure it out exactly. I would just like to give you one piece of advice.

Don't keep staring at all the symbolism in your dream.

Don't focus too much on the whole religious scenario.

The meaning of your dream might be closer to you than anything else and more simple than you might expect from such a dream.

Again, good luck. I fear I know too little of religious symbolism to interpretate your dream very accurately. For one with little knowledge of religion I would probably focus to much on the symbolisme myself.

Like Amun-Ra said. If you need to get it you will get it again or you might already know what you needed to know. There is no such thing as a 'one shot' when something is really important.

And perhaps it was just a dream. No matter what it was, don't worry about it. It's a waste of time.

The first part of the dream doesn't exactly sound bad or anything. You're both doing something I assume you both did and perhaps liked doing? (Because you added he was better at climbing in real life as well.)

You say you moved away from one another. He couldn't grab your hand. You fell and he wasn't able to reach you. Do you perhaps miss him?

I think it would be a good idea to get in touch with eachother (more often?). If you do miss him you might subconsciously think you can't reach him anymore, or he can't reach you. If you change that the dreams might go away as well.

What you should try to figure out is do you have do anything soon that you're worrying about? Are there any problems up ahead. It could mean that you're problems will probably be easier to deal with than you think.

Maybe...Just maybe...You spend too much time worrying about something that might not even happen. Or maybe you're just hoping it will happen. Life is quite boring. I know. But learn to live with it.
