Body Energy Arts / Re: Using Qigong to release toxins
« on: June 17, 2006, 01:58:02 PM »
From my experience, its not only ore or two things and poof!, you're toxin free. The entire Being must be treated. This means the above stuff such as water and fasting. Regular cardiovascular exercises, and the one thing not mentioned, an diet that cooperates with all the above. Basically, eat foods that promote health (no meat...it's freakin dead...), prepare them raw and eat a variety of them. Cooking not only destroys a significant amount of nutrients stored in what ever is being cooked, it introduces toxins as well.

Energy-wise (cuz Qigong is just energy like everything else), makes sure (like the water you're drinking) everything is flowing nice and uninhibited. Regular energy manipulation of what ever camp (Tai Chi, Qigong, Reiki, etc.) would suffice. Abberations from this path of free-flowing goodness leads to health complications.

Long story short, eat raw or fast, drink water, and exercise all your bodies and all should be well.

The same purpose as a psi wheel in my opinion. If the person demonstrating the phenomenon shows those whom are unaware, two things can happen. They can either accept or reject it. Being open-minded (or whatever you wanna call it) is the factor here, not the practicality of Weather Manipulation. Be it calling a storm, conjuring a gust of wind, or spinning a piece of paper on a thumbtack with your mind. All the same to me.

it's simp[ly nothing more than that, and a parlor trick at best since it has no other well used purpose except to have fun with it. which is why I simply don't mess with it anymore.
Some recent developments in my Understanding prove your words to be correct to a degree. As far as I can see yes it's not "practical" but it has it's purpose. Try thinking of it as a psi whell that never leaves your side. Not real earth-shattering if you tend to look at it as such, but can mean a world otherwise, especially for those without the level of awareness as people around here.

Their stuff on crystals is gold. Otherwise, I really don't mess with the rest.

As aware as I am of the power over and link between mind and body, I in no way am trying to say the mind isn't the case. Either way, drawing from recent research and suggestions of the above, I have a pretty good idea of the documented cases and of the overall condition is in normal cases. At this point I believe the person in question does indeed have this condition, but because of the other complications, the disorder is a bit warped for lack of a better term, so it isn't exactly textbook.

Western Med diagnosis is coming soon, but I don't think it's needed now. Thanks for help everyone.

In response to Darkflame, is Traditional Chinese Medicine an actual system of study or a general term for classifying techniques such as Acupuncture, Acupressure and maybe Qigong in a group?

And to Fou Lu, what you say does in fact makes sense with my experience. And if I'm interpreting you correctly, you say that it's mostly in the mind (thus emotional issues like frustration and related). This is in fact a part of the problem abet a small portion. It's mostly (in my non-professional diagnosis) a downgrade in the intensity of this person's chi overall. Concerning Western Medicine, it looks on the outside like extreme exhaustion. But as I tried to address the problem (Reiki) I could scarcely feel the person's aura at this particular time.

I'm posting this here because i really don't know where else to post it. A close person to me suffers of a number of disabilities for which I am declining to explain due to respect and privacy. Needless to say, everyday function can only be possible with a daily plethora of medication. Most of the time, if on schedule, this person functions as close to normal as he/she can. But I have noticed as of late, whenever the season changes, usually a transition from warmer to colder weather, this person's overall intensity drops (extreme fatigue sets in, amongst other things). At first glance it may seem like I'm overexplaining the all too common cold most people get as winter runs in. But after living with this person for a while (+12 years), I'm sure the condition I'm trying to explain is indeed a real isolated issue, but I've never heard anything like this.

Any thoughts?

Recently ended my days as a collegiate (folkstyle) wrestler and relished in it. Now that I'm nearly 30 pounds (66 kgs if my conversion is correct) over my preferred weight class and currently can't train as hard as i used to (college is time consuming), I need an alternative to supplement my sparse training. The weight needs to be dropped and the fastest way my body does this is lots of cardio and a little diet adjusting. This in turn speeds my metabo which in turn, drops the weight. My body is still growing and seeing how us males don't stop until about mid twenties. I wanted to know a safe, natural and effective way of dropping this weight so I can get back on the mat. Worst to worst, I will just have to deal with the current situation...but...I have faith in you guys' knowledge... :-[

Whoa. :o
If we wanna start talking about past generations, or more, past iterations of our race, I would check out some of what the Hopi tribes of central/southern America have to say. That and what the mayans left behind. Very interesting stuff...

When someone finds a way to treat and cure mental issues effectively physically, sign me up. Pills, and surgery and such just ain't gonna cut it if you're looking to fully heal. Yet, this can only be understood if one is aware of more than their own flesh and bone. We are much more, yet my experience shows me how much western medicine refuses to acknowledge this. I intend to change that... 8)

By all means does qi gong help the practitioner live a healthier life. Yet from my understanding, qi gong usually never is used in a way as to heal another, without their partaking in the same exercises.

As sargon mentioned, while it is sort of a tell all due to the nature of the spirit level, heal it and the rest shall follow, it doesn’t work as well as one might think. For example you could be fine spiritually and still have a gash the size of a golf ball in your forehead. In that case, healing the physical with stitches and the ethereal with you choice of a technique would work better.

As for places to learn, I myself am still lookin, but I live in the US, so if you do too, I may be able to help. Yet the reason for my post is because of what I know. Of the above systems mentioned, I am still at a loss when it comes to healing anything but the most immediate bodies (Phy & Eth). Magick is a good start yet…I have no clue on that subject. Could someone specify or elaborate?

Yeah, that's what I meant. Also, due to the usual distinction of there only being the mind, body and spirit being the entire you, many people just live off that pretense when I comes to most of the metaphysical arts (IMHO). In actuality when concerning health as a distinct issue, the 5 bodies or levels of the HEF are defined in such a way as to focus on the most important aspects of our being. For example, emotional distress and the like can and should be diagnosed and treated separate from and mental disorders and distress. I guess it’s just semantics when trying to differentiate the emotion from the mind, but the way you treat an emotional disorder let alone diagnose one is pretty different from how one would deal with a mental problem. Just like how western medicine (I hate it!) mainly focuses exclusively of the physical, yet many disorders stem in higher bodies, especially the one directly above it (the ethereal) when concerned with physical problems.

Now I know for a fact that due to the proximity and the nature of the HEF, when one heals and focuses their energy on higher bodies, the effect is shown and felt on all bodies below it. Deep diseases such as (but not sure exactly) cancer and the like are known to be rooted in higher levels of the HEF and when treated, has a lasting effect on lower more dense parts of our existence. In short, if I am suffering from MS (multiple sclerosis) and can’t find a apparent cause for it physically, the problem lies in a higher body and therefore when diagnosed, should have an effect on my physical disposition.

As much as I am not on good terms with western medicine, it deserves to be mentioned. Yet I still would like to know more non-western (metaphysical-like) systems in which one could heal a person entirely.

And I forgot to mention, Acupressure and Acupuncture help heal the physical and to a degree, heal the balancing of the chakra’s as well.

Body Energy Arts / Healing on all levels of the being.
« on: August 14, 2005, 07:29:45 PM »
First and foremost, I had no idea where to put this. Secondly, i'd suggest doing research on any terms you don't know b/c I searched the boards and haven't come across anything healing related worth noting, thus giving me the impression it's not a popular thing around here.

As of now, I am aware of the 5 "bodies" that make up the human energy field. (Physical, Ethereal, Emotional, Mental and, Spiritual). As with each bodily level, there is a system of healing that focuses on each body, while indirecly benefiting the whole.

Physical/Etheral--      Reiki, Healing Touch, Crystal Therapy, Color/Sound
Emotional/Mental--    Ro Hun,
Spiritual--                 Past Life Regression, Chakra Cleansing

Of the above arts, all of which I am aware of, most seem to focus towards physical health. While in reality, the most important (IMO) body to be healed is the spiritual due to the trickle down effect throughout the body. Beacuse of this, I ask all knowledgeable, are there any other systems of healing that I have not listed. Especially one focused on of the 3 outer bodies?
