Its all good!

I am a noise musician. I should have made that more clear. I use dissonant, unwanted sonic artifacts/glitches and use them to make music. It is my intention for it to sound that way, lol.

A good step in the right direction would be to do a wiki search perhaps on 'Psychosomatic Illness"

These are illness' that effect the body via the mind or perceived reality of the human condition.

It is supposed that with positive thinking a person is 40% more likely to survive cancer, or even slow its growth. (I would have a citation but I cant remember where I got the facts on that one.)

Another thing you could research is 'Dr. Emoto's research into, water and thought'

In my own honest opinion, I would energize yourself to a balance that you can handle, for example, when you reach that certain state of inner peace within yourself...Then instead of expending 'energy', manipulate other things, with, your energy and influence it...I have had people ask me about 'burnout' stuff in the past, and this is the best adivice i can give to bypass this problem.

I personally backed away from the energy model of psy, but i dont discourage what you are doing either...I just found it easier to simply...just do it.

Magick / Re: How do you dispose of old Tarot Decks?
« on: January 31, 2009, 02:33:33 AM »
I actually have a few questions since I have become more adept at Tarot...

I noticed that any divination tool is useless unless you understand its meaning. I am not suggesting that your bad at Tarot, but maybe the cards images or messages arent good enough for you? I could get more information from a pair of dice, than some tarot decks.

I agree with Cheznips, I like to keep old 'tools' for memorabilia.

Spirituality / The Kojiki
« on: September 14, 2008, 06:54:35 PM »
Hello all, just thought that I would stop in and ask a question once again.

If any of you have ever studied shinto, you may have searched for the kojiki. A book of history circled around the shinto faith.

I noticed that every web-site I went to get a pdf, or a single page text of this book os incomplete, except for the one at and even there, one of the versions of the kojiki is incomplete.

Does anyone notice this?

If someone knows where a compiled version of this book is(pdf preferably) please tell me.

If nobody knows, I think it would be an awesome project to start compiling, but I dont want to if it has already been done.

Thank you for your time.

Magick / Re: Goetia Strangeness

heh, I should have probably re-worded my question.

I did a little more research and found that all spirits metioned therein are not evil, and even some of the 'evil' ones can be used for good.

I thought all of them were evil before making my last post, sorry.

I know I could start another thread about this, but i think it should stick here as it requires a small answer.

Question is...Why would someone want to evoke a being from the Goetia?

Interesting read.

I also need to quit smoking. I dont really know how to go about such a thing magickally, but its a really bad addicting habit. I personaly beleive addictions hinder the will, as well it requires a strong will to quit.

Maybe quitting smoking is a good exercise to strengthen the will itself.

May you re-empower yourself and you have my blessings.

Martial Arts / Re: The Book of Five Rings

I prefer to think of it in multiple ways....

It could be called spirit, but it could also be called void.

It could also be virtue, or it could be the over-comming of be-wilderment.

When one is no longer clouded by be-wilderment, one sees the true void...

when one gains experience in all martial arts he is no longer set on one path. No constriction or boundaries, he finds the void, and he finds everything.

In the void is vitue, and no evil. Wisdom has existence, principle has existence, The Way has existence, spirit is nothingness.

When you come to look at things in a wider sense, taking the void as The Way, you will see The Way as the void.

i Hope this clears things up.
