Yes, I agree. Trust me when I say that trying to avoid awkwardness and trying to go the easy way out will inevitibly cause more damage than the hard way. I know for a person like you who cares so much for people (I am like that too, that's how I know) it is extremely difficult, even painful, to confront someone on something like this. But kobok is right, people generally appreciate honesty. I know whenever I try beating about the bush, eventually I stress myself so much and things start turning ugly and the people involved say "well why didn't just SAY so".

So, that's it, just tell them straight. Good luck!

Ok, time for my 2 cents worth again ^^

I believe solstice is right when he says (if you believe in God that is) that God created us to be like him. This means that we have the POTENTIAL to be as wise and as powerful as Him, and in turn he has the POTENTIAL to be as ignorant and as "stupid" as we are sometimes.

But here I think one can argue that God has gained the wisdom to know which decisions not to make. I mean if you've been in existance for practically ever you'd also know a thing or two about what is right and what is wrong. My point is... yes, we have all his traits, we just haven't got the same amount of wisdom. And as you all know, wisdom can NOT be given, it comes through trial and error.

I hope that made sense.

Oh you know... just existing thanks  :)

Welcome to Veritas, hope you achieve your goal. There are a lot of helpful people around here so if you get stuck, don't be shy to ask, but make sure you do your own research before asking a question. One tends to learn better if one searches for the answers.

Good luck with your exams.

I'm not kobok, but well, maybe it WAS something else moving the wheel before, just make sure. If you're absolutely certain it was PK then I'd say by putting the glass over the wheel, your mind is now under the illusion that it's somehow more difficult to do.

In otherwords, I think it's a psychological block. Get rid of your doubts and uncertainties, and I'm sure you'll get it right.

Yes, satanism and witchcraft are very often seen as the same thing. However I don't think we must so quickly start laying blame. You must realise that most people were brought up with these beliefs, and was instilled in them from when they were just tots. Their entire existance has been based on these beliefs and for them to suddenly change their attitude towards witches would be very, very difficult.

The reason being that they've become so bound to their beliefs that changing would literally be a life and death situation for them, the choice of eternal life or eternal damnation. I don't think we'll ever change the way witches are viewed by these people, and we shouldn't try. We should instead focus our attention on our own children and the youth of today, so that we can raise a generation of open-minded human beings. Besides which, you shouldn't really dwell on what others believe you to be, it can be a pain I know, but as long as you're comfortable with what you're doing then it shouldn't matter.

Spirituality / Re: Angels / demons 0_0

Good point there Saer, I can't say I know much about Enochian magick, so my words shouldn't be taken to heart. However just because we can communicate with angels doesn't necessarily mean they give us the whole truth.

As I say I'm not the most knowledgable in this field, so I can only give my opinion based on the little knowledge and understanding that I have.

Spirituality / Re: Angels / demons 0_0

Here is my view on the matter.

Angels and Demons are really one and the same thing, they just have different intentions. I disagree with Prodeus that angels are more powerful, I believe demons are just as powerful, it's just the level of influence each has on the universe that differs. Also just as Angels have a hierarchy system, so do demons.

But I don't really think using the words "Angel" and "Demon" is accurate, because as it is with almost every good vs evil discussion, there's always that grey area. What do we classify as "Demon" and what do we classify as "Angel"

The truth is we will never really know exactly what these entities are, all we know with reasonable certainty is that they exist.
