Martial Arts / Ninjutsu Basics

I didn't mean to offend anyone...even if the way i train is "watered down"  your title is to teach people the basics.  Shouldn't they learn what it's about (as in message behind) and basic stances before they go memorizing stuph.  I'm sure that, even if those major institutes use that ceremony, that the people who first used it thought that
'ok now we're going to say this, clap bow and clap again!  OO now we're getting somewhere'
and that ninjitsu isn't about ceremonies and they said all that stuph to be a guideline and to get u pumped...I did my research and talked to the old folk who teach me and they say the same thing that it isn't about the's not the prupose
                                                   more cheers

well written indeed.  but the way u train is completely different from me.  i dont go to a class and say a bunch of words.  im sure the art is more than repeating the same thing day in and day out.  Or memorizing the names of attacks... though u did forget to mention that a shuki ken is also known as a shoda ( i think thats how u spell least thats how u say it).  I do however meditatate for a brief period of time before learning and after.  Try not to be one sided and keep it broad. Cheers
