Body Energy Arts / Am I doing this wrong?
« on: December 10, 2004, 05:02:22 AM »
Hi guys, I have been doing energy the simple way for the past few months and im up to the point were I can  control it to some degree using visualization and feelings (physically feeling the energy that is, tingles ect). But im a little confused  about rad and traditional ki. Could someone please explain the differences and capabilites between the two to me and tell me which one i'm doing, i'd hate to find out i'm doing 100% rad ki, which doesn't seem to have a good reputation at all. Thanks

Body Energy Arts / Problems with meditation

I generally sit in the lotus position (not the full one because that plain hurts). Then I just breath in for 4 seconds, hold for 2, breath out for 4 repeat. But now that you mention it, I do tend to do my meditation at night, after dinner, but not recently because im on holidays so I am now doing it in the afternoon, and the pain seems to be coming from the lower part of my stomach, I think im pushing out my stomach to much, I was never really taught how to meditaite properly, and the pain is quite sharp, reacting every time I take a deep breath.

Hey, I just wanted to run  a problem by you guys about these very strange stomach aches I have been having recently about 5-10 minutes into my meditation. I just wanted you guys opinions on what it could be caused by, I was thinking it might be the way im breathing, thanks in advance
